Sep 13, 2017 To find this information on a Mac, find the video you want to examine and open it in QuickTime. Once the video is open, press Command+I to open the Information window. Here, you’ll see an item labeled Data Rate. This will tell you the overall bitrate for your video. Again, both Windows and macOS only show a general bitrate. Jul 10, 2018 could you recommend such a freeware hevc analyzer for windows that could show frame by frame bit rate, like konran's bitrate viewer did for old codecs? If you are using x265, just encode with -log-level 2 -csv foo.csv.

Another thread I just read is having a similar problem I'm having. My connection and hardware supports 3500 bitrate no problem, but my viewers are constantly having problems watching my stream.
A suggestion in the other thread was to lower the bitrate to 2000. I want the stream to run smooth for the viewers, without losing too much quality.
Also, if I lower the bitrate to 2000 will I be able to achieve 60fps with minimum lag? (fps lag)
I've streamed 60fps in the past and the lag was only noticeable in big team fights. (smite)
Would it also be a good idea to stream at 60fps with quick sync on? Or is 30fps just fine.
Here's a log;

The Computer Master File Share setting creates an h.264 video in an MP4 container. Apple has chosen a bit rate that they think is optimal for that kind of format. The difference between the two quality settings is how those bits are allocated throughout the movie; high quality does a first pass to determine where the most complex scenes are.

If you want more control, either use Compressor or MPEG Streamclip. Compressor will let you choose bit rates of up to 30 Mb per second. My guess is viewers won't detect any difference, lthough he file size will be 40% larger.
